There's been a lot of hubub in the media recently and for the last few years about equal rights for same-sex couples. And my immediate response to that is...well duh, no shit. They're a couple too...they deserve rights. But funny thing happens when you start asking some folks about what they think about gender, sex and the different sexual orientations that are out there.

I woke up this morning and went through my normal routine; take the dog outside, put a pot of coffee on and make myself some breakfast. Amidst this dance I picked up the most recent copy of Sundance my sister has delivered to our home and read Robert Redford's forward. He is, if you don't know, a wonderfully thoughtful actor, director and activist in addition to owner of the company that brought us the Sundance Film Festival and Clothing Company.
